An English proficiency exam score is

required for admission.

An English proficiency exam is required of all English program students. We give the Michigan English  Proficiency Exam for free to prospective students in the Netherlands.  If you are outside of the Netherlands you must submit a TOEFL score of 550 (PBT) / 80 (IBT) or better, or another comparable internationally recognized English exam score that is not more than two years old.  Our institutional code number for the TOEFL is: 5940.  When you register to take the TOEFL exam you must give this number.  Your score will be sent directly to us by the testing agency.  An acceptable English exam score must be provided to be considered for admission.  Go to http://www.toefl.org
